Skills Level:

Learn advanced filming & survival skills from a former ITN Cameraman with experience filming in Afghanistan, Chechnya, Israel & Mozambique.

All courses are structured so that crucial theory is interspersed with practical exercises designed to reinforce your newly learned skills.

Choosing the right camera, sound & lighting kit for hostile environments.
Kit prep, camera functions & pre filming checks.
Battery management & kit protection including packing for air travel.
Improvised lighting.
Personal protection systems.
Vehicle choice & prep for remote locations including checking other people's cars & boats.
Basic land & marine navigation.
Basic first aid kit.
Insurance for war zones, civil disturbances & off-shore filming.
Dealing with customs & corruption including paying bribes.
Using fixers, minders & being embedded with the military. What they do & how you should behave.
Filming in bad weather.
Filming from cars, boats & helicopters.

This is not a health and safety course! This is a unique, highly practical camera skills & personal survival course.

Course Booking Procedure:

Once dates are agreed you have a maximum of 7 days to pay your 50% non refundable deposit to secure your booking.
